Poole based accountants and tax advisors, Inspire Professional Services, have signed up to work with local charity Diverse Abilities Plus as Ambassadors for the charity's Gold Challenge fundraising initiative.
The Gold Challenge will raise vital money for Diverse Abilities Plus, a charity which supports children and adults with profound physical and mental disabilities in Dorset. Competitors are sponsored to take part in up to 30 Olympic and Paralympic events. Events on offer range from archery and rowing to synchronised swimming and Greco-Roman wrestling.
Speaking of Inspire's involvement, Associate Director Andrew Singleton said: "At Inspire we already have a very strong team dynamic but were looking for ways to do more to build the team spirit and help the local community. The Gold Challenge initiative in partnership with Diverse Abilities Plus gives us this opportunity. In our role as Ambassadors we are looking not just to increase the awareness of the charity and these events but also to encourage our clients and business contacts to take part in the events too."
As part of the Ambassador role several members of the Inspire team recently went on a visit to Langside School, an independent specialist day school run by Diverse Abilities Plus to meet the staff and some of the students to see the important work the sponsorship money will help to achieve. |
