Poole based accountants Inspire has been shortlisted for the Accountancy Age small firm of the year award for the second year running.
Inspire, formed just over four years ago, broke the record for being the youngest firm ever to be shortlisted with last year's entry and has consolidated this position by achieving a place on this year's shortlist.
These annual awards, presented last year by Boris Johnson, are the Oscars of British accountancy and attract a consistently high standard of entries.
Warren Munson, MD of Inspire, said "The business has come on in leaps and bounds in the last year and being able to exceed the exacting criteria that gaining a place on the shortlist requires validates both this as well as recognising all the hard work of Inspire's team."
Co-Director, James Wilson, said "It's fantastic to be able to make an announcement like this when there is so much doom and gloom in the news and as active members of the Dorset business community, it's be good to represent the region at a national level."

The awards are judged by a panel of highly respected professionals from throughout the industry and will be presented at a gala dinner at the Battersea Arena in London later this year.
