Inspire is helping major contractor Harvey Electrical to expand further into new markets as the business celebrates its 30th anniversary.
Harvey Electrical is known for its work on prestigious London projects, installing sophisticated energy-efficient lighting systems for clients such as Harrods and the Bank of New York Mellon.
Harvey also cascades its City contracting expertise into the SME market, helping small and medium-sized firms across the South to enjoy the same moneysaving energy reduction lighting as the corporates.
Now advisers at Inspire have been brought in to help managing director and company secretary Steve and Kim Harvey to structure the business to enable them to move into new markets over the next five years - both geographically and in terms of the work their company carries out.
Poole-based Harvey Electrical will be looking increasingly at providing complete solutions for buildings.
That means looking beyond the motion control lighting systems and smart metering solutions the firm currently provides and moving into the other electrical systems needed for the efficient and cost-effective operation of business premises.
Inspire is helping the Upton Road company to implement new financial systems and processes as it makes this next big leap.
As well as carrying out all the normal accountancy work, Inspire has helped Harvey Electrical to take on a new financial controller, Diane Mortimer, through specialist recruitment agency Hudson Cooper.
 Inspire director Warren Munson said: "Both Inspire and Harvey Electrical have the same kind of ethos - the customers are the be all and end all of the business.
"That is why the relationship has blossomed. The whole thought process started with the simple questions 'where is the business going?' and 'what do you want it to be?'," he added.
