Tax Adviser 

We’re looking for a new Tax Adviser to work in our tax advisory team. Your role will be working to help our clients, on both corporate and personal tax advisory assignments, providing advice on the most efficient and tax effective way to structure their individual and company affairs. You could for example, be involved with helping a client think through the tax implications of restructuring their business, implementing a tax efficient share scheme, or thinking through the best option on how they remunerate and take profit out of the business. Or for example, you could be advising our clients when they are thinking of selling their business or acquiring another and they need some tailored tax advice around the implications of the transaction.

You’ll work closely with our tax compliance team and might help advise on complex personal tax planning, or assist, for example, with research and development tax relief claims. And of course, liaising with HMRC will take some of your time – working with them to find workable solutions which are ok with the Revenue and our clients.

Who we are looking for

We require you to have great relationship and people management skills and be commercially focused. You will also have a desire to make a difference to the advisory and wider team within Inspire, being team orientated and self-motivated.

In terms of qualifications and experience, you will:

  • Be either CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified have some post qualification experience working in a tax role on both PT and CT in another practice.
  • Ideally have some experience of working on transactions.

Client Services Adviser​ (Audit Senior)

 

We’re looking for a new audit senior to join our Client Services team, who work on accounts, audit, personal and corporate tax compliance. Your role will be to plan the audit assignments, plan our approach, monitor the budget, finalise the file and of huge importance, coach other team members to ensure the quality of the audit work is high.

We have a range of audit clients across a diverse array of sectors. You’ll learn a huge amount about a lot of different businesses – due to our size, you won’t just be working on one section of the audit. You’ll be a key client contact and will lead the fieldwork, working onsite and coaching team members to ensure they focus on what is material and document their findings appropriately.

We complete paperless audits, using CCH for our audit automation software.

Who we are looking for

  • Have solid experience working in an audit role in another practice and strong technical knowledge.
  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified, or part qualified – preferably with first time passes.
  • Have experience of coaching others on audit engagements.
  • Have a driving license and ability to travel to client sites.

Client Services Trainee/ Adviser (Part-qualified)

 

Are you looking for an opportunity where you can really thrive at work and make a difference to clients? If so, and if you have already worked in a practice and are at least AAT level 3 qualified, then we would love to hear from you!

We’re looking for two new Trainees/ Advisers to join our Client Services team. Joining our vibrant team, you would be part of a dedicated team, which provides preparation and delivery of regulatory audits, statutory financial statements, annual accounts, systems and procedure reviews and reliable management information. Also, personal tax and corporation tax computations and returns.

Working as a trainee, you will also continue your studies and either finish your AAT studies by completing your AAT level 4 prior to starting your ACCA, or start studying for your ACCA if you are already level 4 qualified. You will (at least initially) be based largely in the office so you have the chance to learn and develop from others in the team, however you will also travel to clients regularly and (if face to face classes start again) attend college for your studies.

  • Have a driving license and ability to travel to client sites.
