The Inspire team has been out in force this month, helping to decorate the new Julia’s House Children’s Hospice shop.
Each member of the Inspire Team are allocated one day a year to volunteer within the local community. Henry Shutler, James Barter, Sue Burt, Sarah Pope, Hannah Sturdy and Kerri Cox spent their time painting and varnishing the new store in Wallisdown.
Kerri comments “I was really overwhelmed by the large number of people who had donated their time to the hospice. It was extremely rewarding to be given the opportunity to do the same and provide support. We had a fantastic day and everyone at the store made us feel very welcome.”
The store is a new venture for the charity and will be open from Thursday 8th October. The Julia’s House stores raise considerable funds for the charity as well as provide an important link to the community. The charity provides inspirational and life-changing support for families and children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
