We are excited to announce that Eddie Howe, Manager of AFC Bournemouth, will be guest of honour at the exclusive Entrepreneurs’ Dinner, taking place on 17th October 2018.
Hosted and held at the award-winning Italian Villa, this much-anticipated fundraising event will bring together South Coast entrepreneurs and business leaders to enjoy an intimate and exclusive evening with Eddie, who is poised to share the highs, lows and twists of his own extraordinary journey. Widely regarded as one of the most talented football managers in the country, Eddie was the first manager to lift the Cherries into the Premier League, and as he prepares for a fourth successive season in the top flight, he’s the longest serving current manager in the Premier League.
In aid of Dorset charity, Julia’s House Children’s Hospice, guests will be treated to a drinks reception and delicious four-course dinner in the company of fellow inspirational business leaders. After dinner there will be the opportunity to take part in a live auction, with all proceeds from the evening going to Julia’s House.
Eddie Howe said, “As a proud Patron of Julia’s House, I’m delighted to be able to show my support through speaking about my experiences and sharing my opinions on leadership; having visited Julia’s House and attended a number of the charity’s events, I’ve seen firsthand the amazing care they provide families most in need. Events play a major role in the charity’s fundraising effort, so with the help of the area’s business leaders, I hope we can raise much-needed funds for this vital service in our local community.”
Martin Edwards, CEO of Julia’s House, said, “Eddie Howe’s insights will be of great interest ; his success in adversity and his thoughts on accountability and continuous improvement in a developing team will be highly relevant to anyone aspiring to be the best in their field. This is an event about leadership for everyone who wants to learn from such an outstanding talent, and we are very grateful to Eddie for his support.”
Alongside our ever-growing line-up of annual events, this exclusive dinner is yet another fantastic opportunity for great minds to share ideas, passions and success stories whilst supporting one of Dorset’s most cherished children’s charities.
