Joe takes to the Skies for Julia’s House

Our Accounts and Audit Supervisor Joe Hayes conquered his fear for heights and completed his very first skydive on 11 June 2016. The brave jumper raised £1,067 for Julia’s House Hospice.  The money goes towards maximising and enriching the quality of life for Dorset children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

Joe was part of a world record attempt to have the greatest number of parachute jumps in one day. Over 300 jumpers took to the skies to help raise money for the charity.

After the jump, Joe said “The skydive was an incredible experience, which was made better by being able to jump with others who are raising money for the same great cause”.
